Musumeci is a solo musical project by Mauro Di Martino, sicilian dj and producer since late 80s. Already known for his combo project Sicania Soul, active from 2002, he is one of the founders of the digital download shop Inndigital and also A&R for What Ever Not Records and Engrave Ltd.

With the ‘Rules’ series Musumeci first appears on the omonymous imprint with a sound that represents a sum of his electronic music roots: a mixture of balearic touch, detroit techno influences and deep house vibe. In collaboration with his long time friend Owen Jay and the maltese label Batti Batti he has released the concept ep ‘Astounding Science Music’ and the more old school ‘Walking Back’.

After the techno oriented 'Human Revolution' ep, Musumeci is now back on Engrave Ltd with a new album of seven tracks entitled ‘The Gemini Project’ supported by djs like Dixon, Ame, Marcel Dettmann, Mano Le Tough, Solomun, Sasha, Alex Niggemann, Christian Prommer, Vince Watson, Tim Green just to name a few.

Musumeci’s music also appears on Alex Niggemann’s Aeon; more productions/remixes will be out soon in 2015 on Connaisseur Recordings, Compost Black Label & Bedrock. Musumeci is one of the founders of Human Machine’s combo project which will be presented in March 2015 on Engrave Ltd with a 3 track ep ‘Black Mechanism’ already supported by Ame, Dixon, Adriatique, SBTH, Yokto, Lehar among others and featured by Groove Magazine January/February 2015 Top50 singles.
